Fun with QR codes along with some cool websites
The first one is a QR code that leads to youtube. I'm pretty sure everyone who has ever used the internet has experienced the time traveling properties of this site, go in for 30 seconds of a video your friend sent you and you'll come out three hours later, homework incomplete and too tired to do anything. It's advanced techno-wizardry I swear.
The second is for a file hosting site called MEGA. It's pretty good for putting upall your pirated stuff for friends to download documents and other things you need easily accessible to others. They encrypt the downloads on an ip to ip basis, and the way their servers are set up means that the only person who gets the decryption keys is you. That means you have extreme amounts of security when uploading sensitive information using this services I believe they hand out 50gb to anyone who signs up, which is a pretty good deal considering their biggest competitor is...
Dropbox! This is also a file hosting service, but it works a little differently. Instead of just handing out a flat amount of space and demanding you to pay them for more, you can do a couple things to earn extra space. Things that will increase your total stoarage space include: Referring people, linking with certain devices, posting a link on facebook and twitter, activating an email and a whole lot more. Their downloads are fast, reliable and fairly accessible to anyone with an interface that anyone can understand.

Google Glass
I'm not even sure how to start with this. Google glass is insane. It looks ridiculous and is incredibly invasive, however that's not even the worst part. People are using them while driving. Using cellphones while driving is bad enough, it pulls your eyes away from the road allowing split second errors that can lead to catastrophic, life altering consequences, and now people want to have a screen in front of them at all times while driving? More and more often I'm seeing a lack of common sense in this world, it's pretty disappointing.

Hopefully a wordcloud
So there's some interesting stuff about this one. Clicking the words will open up a tap with a Google search for that word. Cool, I guess. I chose to do a crown because reasons.
Caleb: Onion News BlockBuster Clip
So here's the last thing I thought I'd have to write about: Blockbuster! Wow, that's some old stuff, haven't seen a blockbuster store in ages. I think they may have actually closed them all. Looking back at the whole Blockbuster renting system, it does seem a little archaic, but at the time it was really convenient and cheap way to see new movies. I liked the way The Onion portrayed it though, it was a fun reminder of a time way behind us.

Caleb: Word Cloud
This is a word cloud I just made using wordle.net. It's some lyrics from the Cake song Cool Blue Reason.
I chose it because I honestly couldn't come up with anything interesting. originally I was just throwing in random words along with the names of my family, but I couldn't get it to turn out the way I wanted it to. I'm not even sure this is exactly how want it, but it's as close as I'm going to get I suppose.

Caleb: Google doodle
Let's talk about Edmond Halley. He was an English astronomer, he's who Halley's comet is named after. I don't really know all that much about him, but Google's doodle used for his 355th birthday evokes memories of elementary school when we had to make models of various things, like say, space. Space was always a very exciting concept for me, it was so surreal to me that we were but just an infinitesimal speck on the face of the universe, relative to the rest of the universe, we're so small and fleeting. Maybe Halley knew that way too, and named a comet after himself in an effort to be remembered long beyond his time was over.

Caleb: Get to know whoever you are
My name's Caleb, welcome to my blog. This is where I'll be dumping the variety of assignments given to me in the Digital Design class. Don't expect much, I'm not too great at art. Lessee what else, I like video games, I'm into computers, general nerd nonsense, you know the deal. Dunno what else to write, so here, have a song I just dug up from my dropbox.
EDIT: Now with super neat HTML wizardry maybe
